Every project at Conestogo Carpenters is guided by a structured, transparent construction process designed to ensure efficiency, quality, and peace of mind.

1. Finalized Construction Drawings

Comprehensive working drawings are completed, incorporating all design details and technical specifications necessary for construction.

2. Permit Acquisition

All required building permits are secured by Conestogo Carpenters to ensure the project meets local codes and regulations before breaking ground.

3. Site Excavation & Foundation

The building process begins with site preparation, excavation, and pouring the foundation—laying the groundwork for structural integrity and longevity.

4. Framing & Structural Build

Following the foundation work, the structural framing begins. This stage includes constructing the walls, floors, and roof system, establishing the essential shape, strength, and layout of the building.

5. Rough-Ins (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)

Essential systems—heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical—are installed before interior walls are sealed.

6. Exterior Finishes

The building is closed in with siding, roofing, windows, and doors, protecting the structure from the elements and enhancing curb appeal.

7. Drywall & Interior Wall Finishes

Interior walls are insulated, drywalled, taped, and painted, creating the internal layout and preparing for final touches.

8. Interior Finishes

Cabinetry, flooring, interior trim, and other finishes are installed, adding character and functionality to the space.

9. Final System Connections

HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are finalized. Fixtures and appliances are installed and tested for performance.
